Challenger Baseball

The Syracuse Challenger Baseball program is one of the oldest and largest Little League programs for special needs children in the country. The program was started in the 1980s by parents in Eastwood who wanted their children to have the ability to play baseball. That desire and dream has now grown from the original 10 players to now accommodate 280 children, who play under the auspices of the local District 8 Little League. Special Olympics Softball programs are held on Wednesdays at 5:00pm.
